All of our therapists
have graduated from an accredited college or university in
their field and have met the state and national licensing
regulations. They are required to maintain current fingerprint
cards, CPR training, and meet continuing education
requirements set forth by their state licensing boards. They
collaborate to meet the goals of the family and child. Here

- Synergy Pediatric Therapy has a unique partnership with USA Gymnastics, whereby our therapists have the opportunity to utilize the gymnastics gym environment in order to improve motor planning and coordination, visual-motor and auditory processing, sensory integration, and organizational behavior. Sensory-based play and exercise facilitate motor learning, body awareness, self-regulation, strength, endurance, and it is FUN! We are very thankful to Mike Naddour, president of USA Gymnastics, for allowing our clients to benefit from his facilities. We use the trampoline, obstacle courses, balance beams, Tumbl Trak, various swings, an array of rings and bars, and tumbling skill progressions to facilitate progress towards individualized goals.
Lio Mana Olana Ranch-
- Owned and operated by Anne Slocum, SLP, Lio Mana Olana Ranch is located near the San Tan Mountain at Recker and Chandler Heights in Gilbert, AZ. Melanie, Rachel, and Penny are certified to provide hippotherapy to children with special needs, and utilize Anne’s facilities at Lio Mana Olana Ranch. Hippotherapy is a treatment strategy that utilizes equine movement as a part of the integrated approach to rehabilitation. Pet-Assisted Therapy Program –
- Synergy Pediatric Therapy, INC is currently developing an animal-assisted therapy program in which canines will be integrated into therapy sessions to work on gross motor skills, fine motor skills, cognition, communication, and self-care skills. Therapists utilizing AAT will be able to address goals established in collaboration with the parents through a unique and highly motivating interaction with AAT registered dogs. Synergy Pediatric Therapy currently has two dogs in training for the registration process and will begin AAT as a therapeutic modality pending the appropriate certifications. Aquatics-www.atri.org
- Arizona is a prime location for therapists to employ the benefits of the aquatic environment to facilitate the achievement of therapeutic outcomes. There are numerous community pools available, and lots of families either have a pool or have access to one. In addition, therapists also utilize the City of Mesa Parkway adapted pool, which has a w/c lift, a zero depth entry ramp, ADA bars, steps, various exercise equipment, and it is located indoors with a constant water temperature around 92 degrees.
